The Last Memory of Elyria

Excerpt: As I stood at the edge of the ancient forest, the wind whipping my hair into a frenzy, I felt the weight of my past bearing down on me

But I’m not here to uncover the secrets of the past. I’m here to find the last memory of Elyria – a single, flickering spark that could hold the key to unlocking the secrets of the universe.

I’d been searching for weeks, following a trail of cryptic clues and whispered rumors. And finally, I’d found it – a hidden glade deep in the heart of the forest, where the trees seemed to hum with an otherworldly energy.

As I stepped into the glade, I felt a presence behind me. I turned to see a figure cloaked in shadows, its eyes glowing with an ethereal light.

“Who are you?” I demanded, trying to keep my voice steady.

The figure didn’t respond. Instead, it reached out a hand and touched my forehead. I felt a jolt of electricity run through my body, and suddenly, I was flooded with visions of Elyria’s greatest achievements.

I saw the city of Zephyr, its spires reaching for the stars. I saw the great libraries of Arkeia, where the Elyrians had stored the secrets of the universe. And I saw the creatures that had once roamed the land – the winged beasts that had been the symbol of Elyria’s power.

But as the visions faded, I realized that I was not alone. The figure was still there, its eyes burning with an inner fire.

“You shouldn’t have come here,” it whispered, its voice like a sigh on the wind.

And with that, everything went black.
